So, in case you don’t find someone in your immediate area, you could consider someone from elsewhere, maybe even a different country. But in case you didn’t, I’ve had great success editing remotely on DaVinci Resolve using Jump desktop. So hopefully I can get some assistance, thanks in advance. Its over a month since your post, so I’m guessing you’ve found the editor/s you needed. (another suggestion from YouTube and several blog post's I've seen), but this also didnt work. However, I have tried to then delete all of my clips inside Resolve and then reimporting them as well as trying to "change the source folder" for the offline clips in Resolve (both suggestions from one YouTube tutorial), this didnt fix the issue.Īnd I have chacked the start timecode of every clip in Resolve but they are all set to 00:00:00:00. Once I get to this point is when the error appears which seems to be a common MC to Resolve occurance. When I imported my AAF timeline I used the import settiong of "Link to source Camera files" instead of Automatically import source clips into media pool". So I'm hoping I can get some help on here.īefore importing my AAF to Resolve I imported all my raw clips into Resolve. ![]() ![]() I have followed almost every single 'roundtrip' tutorial on YouTube and every so-called 'fix' video for this problem but whatever is suggested in tutorials doesnt seem to help my problem. ![]() The clips that don't copy over are all of my clips from the second day of shooting which were edited into the MC timeline after all the previous shots were. However, whenever I export an AAF and import the timeline, some of the clips appear with the error message ". clip failed to link because the timecode extents do not match any clip in the media pool" and several clips in the timeline say "Media offline". In Resolve, Im seeing frames 'Flicker' with 'Media Offline' during playback on the timeline and in the Media Pool, but in different places, either when I scrub through or just play it at normal speed. I'm trying to move my project from Avid MC to DaVinci resolve for the first time ever.
